Description
On May 3, 2009, the Old Labor Hall threw a party to celebrate Pete Seeger’s 90th birthday. More than 300 people gathered to pay tribute to Pete Seeger, American folk music icon and social activist Pete Seeger. The people who gathered at the Hall signed a giant birthday card which was later presented to Pete at his home by singers Ben Koenig and Barre Historical Society Board member Mark Greenberg. Pete, a supporter of the Hall, signed the card to be turned into a print to benefit the Hall.
Only 100 of the smaller prints were made. The last of these prints is now available, at a reduced price because of slight damage on one corner. Hi-res scan, 200 year fade-proof ink on archival paper with reproduction of Pete’s own signature, signed & numbered by artist Ed Epstein (3/4-size 24” x 18”, unframed, slight crumpling in one corner)
